Join us for a Saturday, May 13th evening performance of The Peddler's Theater at the Oak Granary! Jan Smith and Betty Seaman are traveling from their high desert and mountain homes in southern California (Quail Springs Permaculture and Spirit Pine Sanctuary) to share their original live music, stories, arts, crafts, and to enjoy your company and conversation.
The Peddler's Theater is their roaming roadshow, and was conceived to bring people together through music, art, story, conversations, and to inspire us as artists and community builders. Betty Seaman is an artist, skilled crafts person, writer, and natural builder. Jan Smith is an artist, writer and musician.
Saturday 5/13 from 6pm - 10pm
Potluck and craft show at 6pm in the barn; show starts at 7:30pm or so!
The Oak Granary will provide a big grain dish and some delicious garden greens; bring a dish to share. Hare in the Forest Brewery will also be serving delicious homebrew available by donation!
Folks welcome to spend the night and camp, we'll head out to the hills for a grasslands wander on Sunday morning at 9am.
Suggestions contribution for the performers: $10 - 20
And if you wish to come, please don't let lack of money stop you from joining us! Bring the performers poems! produce! pie! and we will be so happy to have your company!
