The Oak Granary offers a unique living laboratory for learning about the natural world, and an experienced staff of environmental educators ready to develop custom curriculum for diverse audiences from tiny tot to curious adult. We specialize in learning by doing, and support people to engage with their hands, minds and hearts to experience the natural world more fully.

Our staff has developed, managed, and hosted programs for schools throughout Northern California including Marin Academy High School, Sunridge Elementary School, Emerson Middle School, University of California at San Francisco, University of California at Berkeley, Marin Conservation Corps, Walker Creek Ranch, and more.

We develop experiential programs around ecology, permaculture and sustainable agriculture, cooking and nutrition, nature connection, and wildtending arts.

Programs range from 1/2 day to multi-day overnights, and our facilities can handle camping groups of up to 30 students.

Please contact us if you’re interested in bringing your class to the Oak Granary; we are happy to work with you to develop a program that will fit your needs.
